The Role

We're looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and build the robust, scalable systems powering Aint City's blockchain-based social network and game. Our backend is primarily written in Golang, but we welcome quick learners proficient in any programming language who are eager to adapt to our tech stack and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, primarily using Golang.
• Integrate blockchain technologies to support secure, decentralized features for social interactions and gaming.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to handle a growing user base.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, blockchain engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless functionality.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay adaptable, learning new tools and technologies as needed to support our platform's evolution.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in backend development, with expertise in building scalable systems.
• Skills: Proficiency in Golang is a plus, but we welcome experience in any language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, etc.) if you're a fast learner.
• Blockchain Knowledge: Familiarity with blockchain concepts (e.g., Ethereum, smart contracts, or other chains) is a bonus but not required.
• Tools: Comfort with standard development tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, REST/GraphQL APIs).
• Mindset: Problem-solver, team player, and quick learner passionate about building innovative, decentralized systems.
• Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Web3, decentralized apps (dApps), or high-performance systems for gaming platforms.
