About TopFoxx
TopFoxx is a woman-owned sunglasses brand designed in NYC. We don't make glasses that just look good, we make glasses that solve problems. Our tangle-free aviators, floating sunglasses, foldable shades, UV400 lenses, and shatter-resistant designs are built for real people. We're a small, remote team, which means we move fast and every person we bring on has a real impact.
We are growing. That growth is driven by performance creative ads that convert, content that earns attention, and a team that understands the difference between looking good and actually selling.
Our biggest opportunity right now is creative execution: producing high-volume, high-quality video content that captures attention and drives revenue. We already have a growing library of UGC, influencer content, product footage, and internal creative assets. What we need is someone who can turn those assets into ads that make people stop scrolling, understand why they need the product, and click “Buy.”
The Role
We are looking for a Paid Media Video Editor to join our growing marketing team. This is not a traditional video editing role.
You will not simply take footage and make it look polished. This is a performance creative role where video editing is the primary skill, but the ultimate goal is to drive clicks, conversions, and revenue. If your mindset is purely aesthetic, this may not be the right fit. If you think about hooks, buyer psychology, value propositions, retention, and conversion while you edit, we want to hear from you.
Your primary responsibility will be transforming raw footage, including UGC, influencer content, product footage, and internal shoots, into scroll-stopping, conversion-focused video ads for Meta, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
We do not need cinematic edits for the sake of looking cinematic. We need clear, smart, persuasive short-form videos that capture attention, communicate value, and make people want to click “Buy.”
You will work under the Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with the broader marketing, paid media, social media, influencer, and creative teams.
This is a high-ownership role with significant room for growth. As you demonstrate strong performance, strategic thinking, and leadership, there is an opportunity to grow into senior performance creative, creative strategy, or creative leadership.
Here is the exact type of videos looking for you to make:

Your primary mission:
Turn products, offers, and real customer stories into video ads that make people stop scrolling, understand the value of the product, and take action. Every edit you make should serve a business goal.
Your primary focus will be paid advertising on Meta and TikTok, with additional support for organic social content when needed.
What You’ll Do:
1) Paid Advertising Creative (Primary Focus)
- Create vertical video ads for Meta, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Transform UGC, influencer content, product footage, and internal footage into high-performing paid ads.
- Develop multiple hook variations, creative angles, pacing structures, and messaging approaches.
- Structure videos using clear problem → solution → outcome frameworks.
- Create UGC-style and influencer-style ads that feel authentic while driving action.
- Identify and extract the strongest moments from longer footage.
- Repurpose and remix existing footage into multiple testable creative variations.
- Write and apply clear, compelling, and readable on-screen copy.
- Create different versions of ads to test hooks, openings, messaging, pacing, CTAs, and visual approaches.
- Optimize creative based on performance data, including CTR, thumb-stop rate, retention, watch time, and conversion performance.
- Continuously analyze what is working and use those insights to improve future creative.
2) Creative Strategy & Content Direction
You will not only edit what you are given. You will also help determine what content should be created next.
- Identify creative opportunities based on product benefits, customer pain points, offers, trends, and performance data.
- Develop creative concepts and ad angles that can be tested.
- Create clear creative briefs and content request documents.
- Recommend the types of footage, clips, shots, hooks, and messaging needed from the founder, internal team, or UGC creators.
- Suggest improvements to framing, pacing, messaging, storytelling, and visual direction.
- Help create repeatable creative frameworks and playbooks for producing high-performing ads.
- Contribute ideas for new creative concepts rather than waiting for direction on every project.

- Add captions, transitions, sound design, motion graphics, and branded elements.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on trends, content direction, and creative ideas.
- Repurpose existing content across multiple platforms and formats.
4) Speed, Testing & Execution
This is a high-output role.
- Work quickly and prioritize execution over perfection.
- Produce multiple creative variations within short timelines.
- Move quickly from idea → edit → feedback → launch → iteration.
- Implement feedback quickly and effectively.
- Maintain strong organization, deadlines, and accountability.
- Continuously test new hooks, angles, formats, and editing styles.
- Be comfortable creating content that may not work and learning from the results.
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness and creative output.
5) Organization & Creative Systems
You will be expected to keep creative workflows organized and scalable.
- Maintain organized Google Drive folders and creative assets.
- Keep projects, footage, versions, and final files clearly organized.
- Build and maintain creative playbooks, SOPs, and repeatable workflows.
- Create clear request documents and creative briefs.
- Help establish systems that make the creative process faster and easier to scale.
6) Platform & Trend Awareness
- Stay current with TikTok, Meta, Instagram, and UGC advertising trends.
- Understand how creative performance differs across platforms.
- Track cultural and viral hooks relevant to U.S. audiences.
- Identify trends that can be adapted to sell products.
- Bring trend-aware ideas that are strategically relevant, not simply trends for the sake of following trends.
What We’re Looking For

- Can create UGC-style ads that feel authentic and persuasive.

- Can identify problems in a piece of creative and recommend how to improve it.
