An exciting 6-month contract has become available for a Junior DevOps Engineer with experience of Microsoft Entra ID (cloud-based identity and access management solution) or Azure Active Directory.
The hiring manager who is the Head of Platform Engineering has stressed that is NOT A SENIOR ROLE BUT A MID-LEVEL ROLE and that he is looking for an ambitious, hardworking, and hungry to learn individual with a passion for technology, with 1-2 years experience (5 years maximum) of working with MS Azure.
Although the role is fully remote working there may be the very occasional visit to our client's offices in Baar, near Zurich in Switzerland which is where the IT Platform Engineering team are based.
DevOps Engineers wishing to be considered are required to have no more than 5 years' commercial experience working with MS Azure which must include Microsoft Entra ID or Azure Active Directory.
The DevOps Engineer will be working on a large Digital Transformation programme where our client is moving from On-Premises to the Cloud. The MS Azure Engineer will assist the senior members of the Platform Engineering Team to move the existing IT system across to the Cloud.
It is important that candidates have some understanding of coding with either PowerShell or Python.
Any experience with Terraform (Infrastructure-as-a-code software tool) will be beneficial but not in any way essential.
We are able to consider applications from residents of both Switzerland and Europe. Therefore, applications can be made with the following currencies 400 CHF, €425 or £365 GBP per day
