The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Antenna Systems Manager to lead antenna engineering programs, RF system development, and wireless communication technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee antenna design, electromagnetic performance, system integration, testing, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring reliable and efficient antenna solutions for modern communication networks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement antenna systems strategies, engineering roadmaps, and technology development plans aligned with organizational objectives and communication requirements.
- Lead antenna engineering activities across wireless communications, satellite communications, aerospace, defense, IoT, 5G/6G networks, RF systems, and emerging connectivity applications.
- Collaborate with RF Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Telecommunications Specialists, Network Teams, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Suppliers, and Executive Leadership to deliver advanced antenna solutions.
- Manage end-to-end antenna system development including requirements definition, electromagnetic design, simulation, prototyping, testing, validation, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Oversee antenna architecture, RF performance optimization, radiation pattern analysis, impedance matching, polarization design, gain optimization, and system integration.
- Lead antenna simulation, modeling, and analysis activities using electromagnetic design methodologies and engineering best practices.
- Manage antenna testing programs including anechoic chamber measurements, near-field and far-field testing, RF characterization, environmental testing, and performance verification.
- Coordinate integration of antennas with wireless platforms, satellite payloads, base stations, terminals, vehicles, aerospace systems, and connected devices.
- Develop engineering standards, design guidelines, technical documentation, test procedures, and quality assurance frameworks for antenna systems.
- Evaluate emerging antenna technologies including phased arrays, beamforming systems, metamaterials, smart antennas, massive MIMO, electronically steered arrays, and advanced RF architectures.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including antenna efficiency, gain performance, signal quality, system reliability, development milestones, test success rates, product performance, and technology readiness levels.
- Conduct engineering reviews, technical risk assessments, design evaluations, performance analyses, supplier assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations, spectrum requirements, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards, RF safety requirements, IEEE standards, ITU recommendations, and organizational engineering policies.
- Manage antenna development budgets, engineering resources, simulation tools, testing facilities, external suppliers, research partnerships, and strategic technology initiatives.
- Drive digital transformation through artificial intelligence (AI)-powered antenna optimization, electromagnetic simulation automation, digital twins, predictive performance analytics, automated testing, RF data analysis, and engineering workflow automation.
- Utilize CST Studio Suite, Ansys HFSS, FEKO, COMSOL Multiphysics, MATLAB, Python, Keysight ADS, Altium Designer, Cadence, NI TestStand, LabVIEW, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, and RF measurement platforms to design, analyze, and optimize antenna systems.
- Prepare executive engineering reports, antenna performance analyses, technology roadmaps, technical reviews, project updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop antenna engineers, RF specialists, electromagnetic engineers, test engineers, and cross-functional technical teams while fostering a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree or PhD in Antenna Engineering, Electromagnetics, Wireless Communications, RF Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is highly advantageous.
- Professional certifications in RF Engineering, Wireless Communications, Project Management Professional (PMP), Systems Engineering, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in antenna engineering, RF systems, wireless communications, satellite communications, electromagnetic design, or related technical roles.
- At least 2 years of experience managing antenna development projects, engineering teams, RF programs, or advanced communication technology initiatives preferred.
- Strong understanding of antenna theory, electromagnetic propagation, RF design, microwave engineering, signal integrity, wireless communication systems, antenna measurements, and system integration.
- Experience with CST Studio Suite, Ansys HFSS, FEKO, COMSOL Multiphysics, MATLAB, Python, Keysight ADS, Cadence, Altium Designer, LabVIEW, NI TestStand, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, and RF testing equipment.
- Familiarity with AI-powered electromagnetic optimization, phased-array antenna systems, beamforming technologies, 5G/6G networks, satellite constellations, software-defined radios, IoT connectivity, and advanced RF analytics is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, technical decision-making, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, project management, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple antenna engineering initiatives while balancing technical performance, regulatory requirements, manufacturing constraints, budgets, timelines, and business objectives.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed engineering teams, research partners, manufacturers, technology providers, regulators, executives, and global stakeholders, with occasional travel for testing campaigns, design reviews, laboratory activities, supplier meetings, and technical conferences as required.
