2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior QA Engineer role is responsible for ensuring high quality across multiple projects by collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to identify risks before deployment. This role combines hands-on manual and automated testing with leadership responsibilities such as process ownership and mentoring, contributing significantly to the reliability and performance of the organization’s software products.
3. Responsibilities:
• Review and validate requirements and technical specifications; collaborate early with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability
• Design and execute test cases including functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile (Android/iOS) applications
• Develop manual and automated tests; coordinate with the Test Automation team to maintain automated test suites
• Log, track, and analyze defects to resolution
• Document test results and advise on product quality and process improvements
• Establish and monitor QA key performance indicators; enhance testing processes and reporting
• Manage testing efforts for multiple projects under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
• Mentor and support fellow QA Engineers
• Utilize AI-powered tools to improve test coverage, accelerate defect analysis, and increase test efficiency

4. Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years of quality assurance experience
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and software development/testing life cycles
• Experience with Agile software development
• Proficiency in writing test cases using BDD/Gherkin syntax
• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira/Xray, TestRail, or Zephyr
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience creating automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools including AI-generated test cases and defect triage
• Experience testing both web and mobile applications on Android and iOS
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in dynamic environments
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Compensation range: $100,000 - $125,000
