Eurisko is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia and contribute to the delivery of secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade data platforms.

You will work closely with software engineers, AI specialists, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to transform complex data sources into reliable pipelines and high-quality datasets that support analytics, artificial intelligence, and strategic decision-making.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Build ETL and ELT workflows across databases, APIs, applications, and streaming platforms.
• Design data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse architectures.
• Develop and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.
• Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Implement data-quality controls, validation rules, monitoring, and lineage.
• Improve pipeline performance, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Support secure data access, governance, privacy, and Saudi data-residency requirements.
• Develop automated deployment and testing processes for data pipelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience building production-grade ETL or ELT pipelines.
• Experience with distributed data-processing technologies such as Apache Spark.
• Experience with messaging or streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and lakehouse architecture.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
