About the Role
We are looking for a Platform Engineer with 3–6 years of experience who has a strong background in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and DevOps. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building and managing cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, observability, and production support.
This is a 100% remote opportunity where you will collaborate with engineering, cloud, security, and product teams to build scalable, reliable, and highly available platforms while improving developer productivity through automation and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Build and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications using Docker.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Implement automation to improve deployment efficiency, infrastructure provisioning, and operational excellence.
- Monitor production systems and improve platform reliability using SRE best practices.
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, or ELK.
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes and developer experience.
- Implement security best practices, IAM policies, secrets management, and secure deployment pipelines.
- Support high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and system resiliency initiatives.
- Participate in on-call production support rotations when required.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar to improve engineering productivity.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE) and Docker.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, Load Balancers, IAM, SSL/TLS, and cloud security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
