The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Manager to lead enterprise infrastructure security strategy, operational security, and cyber resilience initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee the security of cloud platforms, on-premises infrastructure, networks, servers, endpoints, virtualization environments, and critical systems while ensuring compliance, operational continuity, and protection against evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement enterprise infrastructure security strategies, roadmaps, governance frameworks, and technical security standards aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead infrastructure security initiatives across cloud environments, data centers, servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, network infrastructure, endpoints, identity services, and hybrid IT environments.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Operations, DevOps, Enterprise Architecture, Network Engineering, Compliance, Risk Management, IT Operations, and Executive Leadership to strengthen enterprise security.
- Design and maintain secure infrastructure architectures using Zero Trust principles, defense-in-depth strategies, network segmentation, secure configuration baselines, and infrastructure hardening standards.
- Oversee security operations including vulnerability management, configuration management, patch management, infrastructure monitoring, threat detection, incident response coordination, and remediation activities.
- Manage infrastructure security technologies including firewalls, web application firewalls (WAF), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint detection and response (EDR), network access control (NAC), privileged access management (PAM), secure web gateways, and VPN solutions.
- Conduct infrastructure risk assessments, security architecture reviews, penetration testing coordination, threat modeling, disaster recovery security validation, and business continuity security planning.
- Develop infrastructure security policies, technical standards, operational procedures, and secure implementation guidelines for enterprise systems.
- Partner with cloud and DevOps teams to integrate security into infrastructure-as-code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, Kubernetes environments, and automation workflows.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including vulnerability remediation time, infrastructure compliance, patch compliance, incident response metrics, system availability, security control effectiveness, threat detection rates, configuration compliance, and infrastructure resilience.
- Perform infrastructure security audits, security maturity assessments, compliance reviews, forensic investigations, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with UAE cybersecurity regulations, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Benchmarks, PCI DSS, SOC 2, cloud security standards, data protection regulations, and organizational security policies.
- Manage infrastructure security budgets, cybersecurity technologies, software licensing, managed security service providers (MSSPs), consulting partners, and strategic security investments.
- Drive digital transformation through artificial intelligence (AI)-powered threat detection, security analytics, automated vulnerability management, cloud security posture management (CSPM), security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), extended detection and response (XDR), and business intelligence solutions.
- Utilize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, CrowdStrike Falcon, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco Secure, VMware vSphere, VMware NSX, AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Azure Security Center, Google Cloud Security Command Center, Splunk, Qualys, Tenable, Wiz, CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, Terraform, Ansible, Jira, and Confluence to manage infrastructure security operations and generate actionable insights.
- Prepare executive dashboards, infrastructure security reports, cyber risk assessments, compliance reports, vulnerability summaries, incident analyses, security architecture reviews, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure security engineers, security analysts, cloud security specialists, network security engineers, and cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of security, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline is highly advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure security, cybersecurity, cloud security, network security, systems administration, or related roles.
- At least 3 years of experience managing infrastructure security teams, enterprise security programs, cloud security initiatives, or cybersecurity operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, operating system security, virtualization, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint security, vulnerability management, infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, and enterprise security architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, CrowdStrike Falcon, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco Secure, VMware vSphere, VMware NSX, AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Azure Security Center, Google Cloud Security Command Center, Splunk, Qualys, Tenable, Wiz, CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, Ansible, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, Jira, Confluence, and enterprise security platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-powered cybersecurity solutions, cloud-native security platforms, Zero Trust architectures, software-defined networking (SDN), secure access service edge (SASE), confidential computing, infrastructure observability, and advanced threat intelligence platforms is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, strategic planning, technical decision-making, project management, budgeting, vendor management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple infrastructure security initiatives while balancing cybersecurity risks, business continuity, compliance obligations, operational priorities, budgets, timelines, and organizational objectives.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed technology teams, cloud providers, security vendors, auditors, executives, and global stakeholders, with occasional travel for security assessments, incident response activities, audits, and strategic planning sessions as required.
