Role Description The Cloud Engineer at Club Immobilier SEN will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure to support the organization’s applications and services. This part-time, remote role involves configuring and optimizing cloud environments, automating deployment pipelines, monitoring system performance, and ensuring reliability and scalability. The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with development and operations teams to improve application performance, manage backups and disaster recovery, and implement security best practices. The role also includes troubleshooting infrastructure issues, documenting solutions and architecture, and contributing to continuous improvement of cloud workflows and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, with experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud environments.
- Software Development skills for scripting, automation, and integrating infrastructure with applications.
- Proficiency with Linux systems administration, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience working with Databases, including setup, performance tuning, and backup strategies.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including identity and access management and data protection.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time schedules effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
