Join Unit 42, a leader in cybersecurity, as a Senior Backend Engineer. You will be pivotal in designing and maintaining the backend systems that power our cutting-edge web applications. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless scalability across diverse user profiles and global regions. We seek a proactive self-starter to lead the development of modern cloud services in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain backend infrastructure for customer-facing web applications.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing backend systems.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure high availability and performance of backend services in a cloud environment.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in backend development with Python, Golang, C/C++, or Java.
- Expertise in data modeling, RESTful APIs, SQL, and version control.
- Experience with containerization, cloud platforms (GCP preferred), CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles is a plus.ormance Testing, Change Management.
