Junior CSS Developer

JHC Consulting seeks a Junior CSS Developer to support the digital presentation of our written advisory work. Our firm provides counsel to boards and chief executives on matters of strategy and governance, often involving complex organizational questions. Currently, our client manages a major infrastructure, and we are assisting them with the rigorous scrutiny of their long-term operational plans. The role of the Junior CSS Developer is to ensure that our digital memoranda are delivered with the clarity and typographic precision our clients expect. This is a full-time, permanent position conducted in a fully remote environment.

The Role
In this role, your daily focus will be on the structural and visual presentation of our authored documents. Unlike traditional consulting firms, we do not use presentation slides or brief summaries. We produce extensive written arguments that require a high degree of legibility. You will be responsible for the following:

• Maintaining and refining the CSS architecture for our internal document delivery platforms.
• Ensuring that typography, spacing, and layout support a focused reading experience across various devices.
• Working with our principals to translate complex data visualizations from raw analysis into clean, CSS-based components.
• Auditing our digital outputs for consistency with the firm's formal visual standards.
• Debugging layout issues and ensuring cross-browser compatibility for our secure advisory portal.
• Documenting style changes and code updates with the same precision we apply to our strategic counsel.

What You Bring
We are looking for an individual with a clear understanding of the fundamentals of web styling and a respect for the discipline of the written word. As this is an entry level role, we prioritize a strong foundation in modern CSS and HTML over extensive professional history. We value the following attributes:
