Notes:

MUST HAVE experience with Siemens Visualization Mockup (VisMockup). This is a digital modeling/visualization tool within the Teamcenter PLM suite.

• Bachelor's Degree is a hard requirement

General Comments

• This role TA (Technical Authority) focused - internal systems, Teamcenter, PLM, NX, etc.
• 10-15+ years of experience in enterprise and application architecture, with deep (5+ years) expertise in a domain, e.g., legacy mainframe modernization @ IBM, other GC Marine Business units - NASSCO, Bath Iron Works, Austal USA, DoD contractor experience - Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, Boeing, or PLM focused on manufacturing space, PLM @ Siemens, or former Navy submariner
• Strong background in business process reengineering, system integration, data warehousing, delivering strategic roadmaps, planning application modernization, and solving complex internal process and software application challenges
• An excellent communicator recognizes with multiple leadership and business innovation accomplishments

This is a mid-level to senior Enterprise Architect position primarily supporting long term PLM Architecture and reporting to senior executive staff. The ideal candidate would be experienced in analysis, collection organization, storage of data as well as the tools and technology utilized to perform this task. The candidate should be an active learner, able to work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Work with architecture peers to analyze current and historical data from multiple sources to describe the business present state identifying trends and patterns.
• Stay abreast of technology trends and the practical application of technology.
• Utilizing diagnostic analytics to answer the “why is it happening?” to discover the factors ore reasons for past business performance.
• Understand the mechanism and use of predicative analytics, utilizing statistical modeling, forecasting and machine learning to the output from descriptive and diagnostic analytics in making predictions about future business outcomes.
• Perform functional and technical design reviews for completeness and compliance with requirements and standards.
• Recommend specific solutions designed to deliver desired outcomes by the application of testing and other techniques of prescriptive analytics.
• Collaborate with business constituents, architecture team members, project teams and solution providers to fulfill these responsibilities.

Education/Experience

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and modeling in a business intelligence or reporting environment
• Experience with PLM Software (Siemens Team Center)
• 2 years of experience in a lead role responsible for the delivery and quality of the solution
• Experienced with industry frameworks and standards such UML, TOGAF, ITIL
• Experienced multiple software development methodologies, including Unified Process
