Back End Developer in EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

Backend Developer - Up to $150k plus bonus - Fully Remote

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer to join a top Web3 firm on a permanent basis. In this role, you will lead a team of developers in designing, implementing, and deploying a scalable and secure DeFi backend and protocol infrastructure.

This role is fully remote working role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of DeFi solutions.
• Design and implement robust backend infrastructure to support dApps.
• Architect and develop smart contracts on EVM-compatible blockchains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and prioritise features.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of DeFi solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in web3, DeFi, and backend technologies.

Requirements:

• Strong software development experience, ideally in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience in backend development, particularly with Node.js, Go, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols.
• Proficiency in Solidity and hands-on experience with EVM smart contract development.
• Experience in building and integrating DEXs
• Experience leading and motivating development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to design and build SDKs.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience addressing MEV concerns.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of the latest EIPs relevant to DeFi.
