Entertainment must enhance the atmosphere without overpowering food service, conversation, comfort, privacy or safety.

EMPLOYMENT, HOURS AND SCHEDULING
• Full-time Bahrain employment.
• 24-month contract.
• Company-sponsored visa, work permit and residence processing.
• Up to 48 actual working hours weekly.
• One weekly rest day of at least 24 consecutive hours.
• Flexible scheduling based on operational needs.
Weekly hours may use either model or a combination:
Standard 8+1 Model:
8 actual working hours + 1 meal/rest break = 9 hours’ workplace presence. Six working days plus one rest day equal up to 48 actual working hours. The break is not working time.
Flexible Weekday/Weekend Model:
Thursday, Friday and Saturday may involve approximately 10 actual working hours plus a one-hour break. Three days selected from Sunday to Wednesday may involve approximately 6 actual working hours each; the remaining day is the weekly rest day.
Calculation: 3 × 10 = 30 hours; 3 × 6 = 18 hours; total = 48 actual working hours.
The rest day may fall between Sunday and Wednesday and vary by artist according to reservations, rehearsals, events, staffing, cast rotation and operational needs. These models are examples, not guaranteed timetables. Ravensthorpe may combine or rotate schedules. Times may change for operating hours, weekends, holidays, private functions, seasonal programmes and approved assignments. Approved overtime follows the contract, company policy and Bahrain law.
WORKING TIME VS PERFORMANCE TIME
A shift is not continuous stage performance. Working time may include rehearsals, preparation, sound/lighting/equipment/fire-safety checks, costume changes, briefings, performances, ceremonies, approved guest interaction, promotions, equipment care, preparation/recovery between cues, reviews and closing duties.
Artists must remain available, professionally presented and performance-ready throughout the shift. Time between cues is not a formal break when the artist must remain in costume, ready or available. Formal breaks are scheduled separately.
PERFORMANCE PROGRAMMING
Ravensthorpe may use either format or combine them:
1. Extended Sets: approximately 4–5 sets per evening, each around 30–45 minutes, potentially including music, vocals, dance, storytelling, theatre, ceremonial hosting, approved fire moments and combined-cast productions. Preparation, costume-change, hydration and recovery periods are normally provided; participation varies by role.
2. Short Immersive Performances: approximately 4–5 minutes every 30 minutes during the main entertainment period, including entrances, dance, instrumental features, percussion, vocals, storytelling, celebrations, approved fire moments and combined-cast appearances. “Every 30 minutes” refers to the overall programme, not each artist. Artists rotate by role, costume, safety and sequence.
3. Combined Programming: selected evenings may combine short moments every 30 minutes with extended sets, atmospheric music, ceremonies, vocal/instrumental features, birthdays, anniversaries, VIP moments, private events, approved fire sequences and finales.
Final programming depends on reservations, guest comfort, dining flow, safety, artist availability, cast rotation, costume requirements, technical readiness and operational needs.
