Senior Software Engineer

Role Description As a Senior Software Engineer at BisChat, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and core application components for our messaging platform. You will work closely with product and engineering peers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, optimize performance and reliability, and ensure high standards of security and privacy. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting new features, reviewing code, mentoring other engineers, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to continuous integration and deployment improvements. This is a full-time remote role, offering flexibility in location while requiring strong collaboration across distributed teams.
Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade applications.
• Strong skills in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database integration.
