Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Payroll Officer to lead multi-entity payroll processing, statutory compliance, and payroll reconciliation for our Australian pharmacy group client. In this hands-on technical role, you will manage end-to-end payroll workflows using Wageloch and Xero, execute complex entitlement calculations (Long Service Leave, Paid Parental Leave), oversee year-end reconciliations, and ensure strict Australian Taxation Office (ATO) compliance. Operating 100% remotely on an Australian-aligned day shift, you will serve as a trusted payroll specialist, delivering fast, accurate, and compliant service across multiple pharmacy locations.

Your Impact

  • Multi-Entity Payroll Processing: Execute end-to-end pay runs across multiple entities via Wageloch and Xero, uploading bank payment files for authorization and maintaining accurate wage rates and casual rosters.

  • Complex Leave & Entitlements Management: Calculate and process specialized leave entitlements, including Long Service Leave, Paid Parental Leave, termination payouts, and wage adjustments as instructed by pharmacy owners.

  • ATO Compliance & Statutory Lodgments: Lodge Single Touch Payroll (STP) data, PAYG withholding, and state Payroll Tax returns in full compliance with Australian statutory deadlines.

  • Reconciliations & Year-End Close: Perform thorough payroll data reviews, account reconciliations, audit support, and final end-of-financial-year (EOFY) payroll finalizations.

  • Query Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Investigate employee pay queries promptly, resolve discrepancies using best practices, and assist with internal payroll reviews and process enhancements.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 2+ years of dedicated Australian payroll experience, ideally managing multi-entity operations within retail, healthcare, or pharmacy industries.

  • Software Competency: Practical proficiency using Xero Payroll and rostering/timekeeping integration platforms like Wageloch (or similar systems such as Deputy or Tanda).

  • Technical Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards, STP lodgments, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and specialized leave calculations (LSL and Paid Parental Leave).

  • Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, rapid numeric data entry skills, strong analytical problem-solving, and a proactive sense of urgency when managing strict pay deadlines.

  • Communication & EI: High emotional intelligence, excellent written and verbal English communication skills, and the confidence to liaise directly with Pharmacy Owners and internal stakeholders.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Diploma of Payroll Services or Certificate IV in Payroll (or equivalent Australian payroll credential).

Why You'll Love It Here

We believe in rewarding high achievers with a work environment that fuels both professional growth and personal well-being.

  • Time for You: Enjoy 21 Total Annual Service Incentive Leaves, flexible to use for travel, emergencies, or anything you may need for your "Me time."

  • Tenure Recognition Program: Celebrate your milestones with us; on your 2nd year, choose between a cash reward or one free HMO dependent.

  • Health & Security: Comprehensive HMO and Life Insurance coverage from day one.

  • Day Shift Stability: Enjoy a predictable daytime schedule aligned with Australian business hours, keeping your evenings and weekends free.

  • 100% Remote Work Flexibility: Save time on daily commuting and work comfortably from your home office anywhere in the Philippines.

  • Specialized Industry Exposure: Build high-value expertise in specialized Australian pharmacy awards, cloud payroll technology (Wageloch + Xero), and enterprise compliance workflows.
