Senior Software Engineer - Remote, Cloud-Native & AI Solutions

Role Description The Software Engineer will work full time in a remote capacity, building and maintaining software solutions that support ByteSimplified’s educational platforms, project delivery systems, and cloud-native business tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and efficient code, and applying computer science fundamentals to solve technical problems. The role involves collaborating with product and content teams to translate requirements into scalable features, conducting code reviews, and ensuring system reliability and performance. The Software Engineer will also help improve existing systems, contribute to technical documentation, and stay current with emerging technologies relevant to cloud computing and generative AI solutions.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience in Software Development practices, including version control, testing, debugging, and continuous integration.

• Experience in Back-End Web Development, such as building RESTful APIs, working with databases, and deploying server-side applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
