We're building a retirement planner that helps everyday Indians answer one scary question: "Will I have enough money when I stop working?" — in under 60 seconds, on their phone, without jargon.

You won't be a heads-down coder buried in a repo. Talking to real users will be ~40% of your job. If you light up when someone struggles with a feature you built (because now you get to fix it), keep reading. We believe the best web developers write code and watch it get used.

• Talk to users every week. Sit in on 1:1 usability tests, do WhatsApp follow-ups, hop on calls with 35-year-olds who've never heard the words "equity allocation." You'll hear exactly where the app breaks for them — then go build the fix.
• Build and ship end-to-end. Own the front end of the planner form, the result screen, and every nudge in between — clean, fast, responsive code that works on the cheapest phone on the slowest network.
• Use Claude Code daily to prototype interactions, build live features, and ship fixes fast. Move 5x quicker than the "wait-for-the-next-sprint" model.
• Turn user pain into a live fix — in days, not quarters. Bug spotted in a user call this morning, patched and deployed by evening.

• Run lightweight validation: 5-user tests, drop-off funnels, before/after comparisons — and instrument the app so the data tells you what to build next.

• You can ship. Degrees, college tier, GPA — we genuinely don't care. Show us what you've built and deployed.
• You're comfortable with modern front-end tooling (HTML/CSS/JavaScript and a framework like React) and with Claude Code — or obsessed enough to be production-ready in 2 weeks.
• You love talking to strangers. If watching a real user fumble through your build feels like a gift rather than a chore, perfect.
• A taste for calm, trustworthy fintech aesthetics — you care whether the button feels right, not just whether it works.
• Bonus: any exposure to personal finance, SIPs, mutual funds, or how Indian middle-class families think about money.
