Technical Co-Founder / CTO

Enterprise AI, Data & Agent Systems

Innoxsea is a Singapore-based startup building an AI-powered enterprise intelligence platform for life sciences and cross-border innovation.

We are looking for a full-time Technical Co-Founder / CTO —a hands-on, 0-to-1 builder who can take ownership of our technical architecture, core product and early engineering team.

• Define the technical architecture and product roadmap.
• Build critical backend, data and AI components.
• Develop reliable data pipelines, hybrid retrieval and knowledge-intensive workflows.
• Build production-grade AI agent capabilities with traceability, evaluation and observability.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, deployment, security and monitoring.
• Translate real industry workflows into practical product capabilities.
• Recruit and lead the initial engineering team as Innoxsea grows.
• Work closely with the founder on product strategy, technical partnerships and company building.

• Strong experience in backend engineering, data platforms, enterprise search or applied AI.
• Experience building systems involving RAG, AI agents, search, knowledge systems or complex data workflows.
• Strong understanding of databases, APIs, data pipelines, cloud deployment and system reliability.
• Evidence of building products from an early stage—not only maintaining mature systems.
• Ability to make sound architecture decisions, write high-quality core code and gradually build a small engineering team.
• Strong working English and the ability to collaborate across international markets.
• Readiness to commit full-time to an early-stage venture.

Exceptional recent PhD graduates who have built substantial AI systems or products are also welcome to apply.

• Experience with knowledge graphs, entity resolution or ontologies.
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare or other regulated industries.
• B2B SaaS or multi-tenant enterprise product experience.
• Open-source contributions or independently built technical products.
• Previous experience as a technical founder, founding engineer or Staff/Principal Engineer.

Candidates may be based globally, with strong overlap with Singapore working hours and periodic travel to Singapore. Relocation may be discussed where appropriate.
