About The Role
Ruby Labs is launching a research chemicals e-commerce store, and we're seeking a seasoned Product Owner to lead this initiative. You'll be at the helm of defining and structuring our processes, establishing objectives and key results (OKRs), and managing a multidisciplinary team comprising marketing, supply, data, and engineering professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Standardize Processes: Design, implement, and refine standardized processes to ensure efficient and cohesive operations.
- Lead and Manage Team: Oversee a diverse team of engineers, marketing, data, and supply, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Backlog Management: Maintain a well-organized backlog of requests from various departments, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure timely execution.
- Requirement Gathering and Refinement: Collect detailed requirements, refine them for clarity and feasibility, and align them with strategic business goals.
- Define and Communicate Roadmap: Establish a clear roadmap for product development, including key milestones, delivery timelines, and deadlines, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
- Oversee Deliveries: Monitor progress and ensure the quality of all deliverables meets organizational standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for the stakeholders while ensuring transparency, alignment, and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams, preferably within shared services or similar environments.
- Strong ability to draft, implement, and standardize processes across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent at backlog management, prioritization, and requirement refinement.
- Capable of defining clear roadmaps and aligning team efforts with organizational objectives.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies relevant to marketing, design, and engineering processes.
Location
Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
