Translate strategic product roadmaps into actionable project plans and tactical execution strategies
Drive roadmap operationalization by ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and day-to-day project execution
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create, execute, and monitor project roadmaps while ensuring milestone completion
Maintain project tracking documentation, project management tools, roadmap deliverables, status reporting, and executive communications
Proactively identify project blockers, risks, and cross-functional dependencies while implementing mitigation strategies to maintain delivery timelines
Coordinate multiple workstreams across globally distributed teams while ensuring consistency, accountability, and execution excellence
Partner with leadership to adjust project priorities as business needs evolve and communicate changes effectively across stakeholders
Support enterprise reporting initiatives that enable Marketing and Decision Science teams to make data-driven decisions and improve business outcomes
Drive operational excellence through continuous process improvements and effective project governance

Location: Remote (Bay Area, CA Preferred - US Only)

Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

Schedule: Full-time | 40 Hours per Week

Job Overview

The Technical Project Manager IV supports a product development organization in delivering complex technical initiatives according to defined product roadmaps. Working within an Agile/Scrum environment, this role is responsible for driving project execution, operationalizing strategic roadmaps, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of key business objectives.


This position serves as the central point of coordination between Engineering, Product Management, Decision Science, Business Engineering, Business Analysis, and Data Engineering teams, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders while proactively managing project risks, dependencies, and execution challenges.


The role also supports the delivery of standardized and centralized reporting solutions for Marketing and Decision Science organizations to improve brand sentiment, marketing effectiveness, and business performance across a portfolio of consumer products and services. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with globally distributed cross-functional teams while contributing to company-wide strategic initiatives. A background in marketing analytics is preferred but not required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day project planning and execution activities across multiple technical initiatives.
  • Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, roadmap reviews, project meetings, and stakeholder updates.
  • Translate strategic product roadmaps into actionable project plans and tactical execution strategies.
  • Drive roadmap operationalization by ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and day-to-day project execution.
  • Initiate, schedule, facilitate, and document project and program meetings involving Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Decision Scientists, Business Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create, execute, and monitor project roadmaps while ensuring milestone completion.
  • Maintain project tracking documentation, project management tools, roadmap deliverables, status reporting, and executive communications.
  • Proactively identify project blockers, risks, and cross-functional dependencies while implementing mitigation strategies to maintain delivery timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Project Management, Technical Program Management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing complex technical projects from planning through implementation.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, highly ambiguous environments while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, Analytics, Data Engineering, and Business teams.
  • Self-starter with a strong bias toward execution and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Technical Project Manager who excels at translating strategic vision into tactical execution while leading multiple technical initiatives in a highly collaborative Agile environment. This individual is comfortable navigating ambiguity, proactively removing blockers, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and driving roadmap execution across Engineering, Product Management, Data Engineering, Decision Science, and Business teams. Experience supporting marketing analytics or reporting initiatives is preferred but not required. Success in this role is measured by the ability to operationalize roadmaps, maintain project momentum, and deliver measurable business outcomes through effective cross-functional leadership.
