IT Project Manager – ServiceNow PPM

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives for a global organization. This professional will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring that scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.

The ideal candidate has experience working in operational IT environments, is comfortable managing both Waterfall and Agile projects, and can collaborate effectively with stakeholders and delivery teams across the United States and Latin America.

Engagement Details

• 100% remote position within Latin America
• Full-time engagement: 40 hours per week
• Working hours aligned with the U.S. Eastern Time Zone
• Strong English communication skills required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide project management leadership and direction for large, complex, and business-critical technology projects.
• Manage IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Support both Waterfall and Agile delivery models, acting as a Project Manager or Scrum Master when required.

• Use project portfolio management tools to track progress, resources, risks, budgets, and project performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams to define project requirements and delivery priorities.
• Establish clear project governance, communication plans, reporting standards, and escalation processes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks at both strategic and operational levels.
• Track issues through resolution and escalate critical blockers to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Monitor timeline status, financial performance, resource allocation, and budget variances.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress, risks, decisions, and dependencies to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Promote project management best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, procedures, and standards.
• Manage changing priorities and drive project execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• PMP certification.
• At least 5 years of experience managing IT projects, or at least 3 years of relevant experience combined with a master’s degree.
• Demonstrated experience managing large or complex technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, governance, and best practices.

• Experience working with both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience working within a PMO or established project governance structure.

• Strong leadership, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• CSM or another recognized Scrum Master certification.
• Experience using ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
• Healthcare or care-delivery technology experience.
• Experience managing cybersecurity projects.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Experience supporting global or U.S.-based stakeholders.
