QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Deliver high-quality automation scripts, execution, test plans and results; guide the team with best practices for performance.
Be 100% hands-on as a delivering QA engineer.

Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures.
Communicate with PM, PO, engineers, leads, architects, QA and other stakeholders across an internationally distributed team.
Participate in delivering the product roadmap, plannings and estimations; think out of the box for solutions that scale.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must have 5+ years experience.
Must be strong in a QA automation tool (e.g. Selenium) and API testing (e.g. Postman, Rest-Assured).

Hands-on, daily proficiency with Claude Code (Anthropic's agentic coding tool) as a core part of the delivery workflow.
Able to run Claude Code both from the command line / terminal and inside an IDE — Cursor, VS Code, or JetBrains — via the Claude Code extension, switching fluidly between the two.
Comfortable driving multi-step work: plan mode, editing across many files, running tests/commands, and reviewing diffs before applying changes.
Familiar with Claude Code skills, subagents, and MCP connectors to extend the tool to project systems (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, databases, cloud).
Writes clear, well-scoped prompts and always reviews and verifies AI output — uses Claude Code to accelerate delivery, never to bypass engineering judgment or merge unreviewed code.
Applied to this role:
Use Claude Code to generate and maintain Selenium / TestNG suites and API tests (Postman / Rest-Assured) from requirements.
Convert business specifications into test scenarios and executable test cases with AI assistance, then review and harden them.
Triage failing/flaky runs, analyze logs, and expand coverage by pointing Claude Code at the code under test.
