Role Description

We are hiring a DeFi Quantitative Yield Architect (Remote, US) to design, evaluate, and implement sophisticated yield-generation strategies across decentralized finance protocols and digital asset markets.

This role will combine quantitative research, financial modeling, blockchain analytics, and technical strategy to identify sustainable sources of yield and optimize capital deployment across lending, staking, liquidity provision, and other DeFi opportunities. The successful candidate will collaborate with blockchain engineers, data specialists, cybersecurity professionals, and business leaders to develop secure, scalable, and data-driven digital asset strategies for internal initiatives and client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design quantitative yield strategies across decentralized finance protocols and blockchain networks
• Research lending, borrowing, staking, restaking, liquidity mining, and automated market maker opportunities
• Develop models for yield forecasting, portfolio construction, capital allocation, and risk-adjusted return optimization
• Analyze protocol economics, token incentives, liquidity depth, collateral structures, and governance mechanisms
• Evaluate smart contract, counterparty, oracle, bridge, liquidity, and market risks
• Use on-chain data and market intelligence to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities
• Conduct scenario analysis, backtesting, stress testing, and sensitivity analysis for DeFi strategies

• Monitor strategy performance and recommend portfolio rebalancing or risk mitigation actions
• Collaborate with blockchain engineers to support the implementation and automation of yield strategies
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to assess protocol vulnerabilities and operational safeguards
• Prepare technical research, investment memoranda, dashboards, and recommendations for clients and leadership
• Stay current on new DeFi protocols, blockchain infrastructure, regulatory developments, and digital asset market trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• Experience in quantitative research, algorithmic trading, portfolio management, digital assets, or decentralized finance
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, tokenomics, and DeFi market structures
• Experience with lending protocols, decentralized exchanges, liquidity pools, staking platforms, and yield optimization strategies
• Proficiency in quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, portfolio optimization, and risk measurement
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, blockchain analytics tools, and on-chain data platforms
• Ability to evaluate smart contract and protocol risks in partnership with technical and cybersecurity teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills

Compensation

Salary range: $155,000–$220,000 USD per year, depending on experience in quantitative finance, DeFi strategy, blockchain analytics, and digital asset risk management.

The total compensation package may also include performance-based bonuses, equity or token-based incentives where applicable, professional development funding, and additional employee benefits.
