System Administrator – Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
Salary Range: CI$58,380 - $78,516 per annum
(US $70,095 – $94,276)
The System Administrator – Enterprise Content Management (ECM) is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, support, enhancement, and governance of the Cayman Islands Government’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform(s) and associated technologies. The post-holder will support the delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant content management solutions that enable Government departments to effectively manage electronic records, workflows, business documents, metadata, retention schedules, and digital collaboration services. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, security, performance, and continuous improvement of ECM systems while supporting digital transform.

Education & Experience The post-holder should possess:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, supporting an ECM system or enterprise application, PLUS: A minimum of three (3) years supporting an ECM system or enterprise application, OR
• Five (5) years of relevant ECM or Enterprise Systems Administration experience with related technical certifications.
Technical Knowledge and Skills The post-holder should demonstrate proficiency in several of the following areas: • Enterprise Content Management Systems • Records Management & Information Governance • Workflow Automation & Business Process Management • Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online • Active Directory / Entra ID • Web Services / APIs / REST • JavaScript, HTML, CSS • PowerShell or scripting languages • ITIL Service Management • Identity & Access Management • SQL and database concepts • Security and compliance best practices Soft Skills: The post-holder must have good interpersonal and communication skills, solid technical writing skills in English and the ability to get along well in a culturally diverse environment. Overcoming resistance to change and driving change management is also a big part of the post.
