Type: Contract

Pay: $53/hr w2 (exact rate, no flex)

Length: 6 months-possibility to convert to full time

Screenings: 2nd 15 min teams screen prior to submission, full panel drug and background once hired

IV process: 2 rounds

+optional benefits, long term contract with ability to extend or convert to full time

Must Haves:

• 4-5 year degree + stable work history (prefer 1.5+ years in recent roles)
• Located on the East Coast / EST comfortable working fully remote
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification
• Bachelor's degree (4-year degree required)
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Recent hands-on Jira and Confluence experience
• Experience leading 2-3 Agile Scrum teams simultaneously
• Recent hands-on Jira experience (Ask what reports they use and why they use them, how to query in Jira, etc.)
• Led 2–3 Agile Scrum teams simultaneously in each of their last two roles (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Experience balancing multiple projects and competing priorities while owning Scrum Master responsibilities
• Demonstrates ownership beyond Scrum ceremonies (Candidate provides examples of identifying risks, removing blockers, driving escalations, influencing stakeholders, and improving team delivery).

What the Team Needs

This is a hands-on Scrum Master role supporting multiple Agile squads (80%), in addition to supporting an enterprise wide business case (20%). The ideal candidate has recent experience leading 2-3 App Dev Scrum teams simultaneously, driving delivery, removing blockers, managing stakeholders, and providing meaningful reporting through Jira and Confluence.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Client is seeking a strong Agile Scrum Master/Project Manager to manage multiple scrum teams and support product delivery for our Business Services software development teams. This role requires an experienced scrum master/project manager with excellent communication and leadership skills.

As an Agile Scrum Master/Project Manager, you will be an essential member of our team, to project-manage cross-functional teams by working closely with all aspects of the product development community: Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, etc., managing a diverse range of software projects and activities. Our mission is to lead change and enable excellent global product delivery by collaborating flexibly and transparently with our partners across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage multiple Scrum teams concurrently.
• Manage scrum team velocity and throughput. Utilize Jira metrics and reports to manage teams’ performance.
• Provide Agile coaching for scrum team members.

• Provide weekly project and scrum team status reports.
• Make recommendations for improvement to existing processes, implement, and enforce best delivery practices within the agreed framework.
