Associate Web Developer

Mosaic Conseil is a boutique remote workshop built on the idea that business artifacts should be disassembled and rebuilt with precision. We do not produce slide decks or follow standing retainers. Instead, we take a specific document, such as a pricing model or a business plan, and rebuild it against the evidence of the invoice ledger. Currently, we are applying this methodology to a project for a leading Italian logistics firm, helping them reorganize their internal data structures and financial reporting tools.

About Mosaic Conseil
We operate as a small, focused team of professionals who prefer written arguments over meetings. Mosaic is intentionally remote and intentionally small. Our process relies on the evidence at the floor of the business: the actual numbers and the logic that connects them. Every file we produce is the result of a rigorous internal debate. We handle work on paper, backed by a telephone number that we answer ourselves for ninety days after a project closes. We focus our efforts on four specific areas: financial services, healthcare systems, growing software companies, and industrial networks.

What you would do
As an Associate Web Developer, you will build the digital interfaces that allow our clients to interact with rebuilt business models. For our current engagement with the Italian logistics firm, you will be responsible for translating complex data structures into clear, functional web environments. Your day-to-day work involves writing clean, maintainable code to create internal tools, dashboards, and interactive ledgers. You will work closely with our analysts to ensure that the logic of a financial model is perfectly reflected in the web application. Because we work in a builder and challenger model, you will often find yourself in one of two roles: either building a new interface from scratch or acting as the internal critic who tests a peer's code for logic and usability.

Helpful background
We are looking for someone who values the craft of coding and the clarity of a well-structured page. This is an entry-level position, so we prioritize your ability to learn our specific workshop methods over years of professional history. Helpful traits include:

• A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

How we work

We communicate primarily through written arguments and detailed notes. This role is fully remote, allowing you the autonomy to manage your own time and workspace. We believe that the best work happens when you have the space to think clearly without the distractions of a traditional office or constant digital notifications.
