About The Role
Finstock is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead commercial expansion across Southeast Asia.
You will identify new markets, build relationships with institutional clients and strategic partners, develop the regional sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue. The role will work closely with the Global Sales Director and Finstock’s Product, Research, Marketing, and Solutions teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Finstock’s business development strategy across Southeast Asia.
- Build a qualified pipeline of financial institutions, asset managers, fintech companies, research teams, universities, and enterprise clients.
- Manage the full business development cycle, from market mapping and prospecting to proposals, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Establish strategic partnerships with financial-data providers, technology companies, industry associations, and regional institutions.
- Conduct product presentations, discovery sessions, and commercial negotiations with senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product and Solutions teams to translate customer requirements into relevant product and implementation proposals.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, market intelligence, partnership records, and revenue reports.
- Represent Finstock at fintech, financial-services, AI, and investment-industry events across the region.
- 4+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or a related commercial role.
- Demonstrated experience developing B2B opportunities across one or more Southeast Asian markets.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-management, presentation, and commercial-planning skills.
- Ability to engage senior decision-makers and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore, work in a hybrid environment, and travel within Southeast Asia when required.

- Experience in fintech, financial services, investment research, market data, SaaS, AI, or enterprise technology.
- Existing relationships with financial institutions, asset managers, fintech companies, universities, or institutional research teams.
- Familiarity with financial analytics, quantitative research, market-data products, or AI-enabled enterprise solutions.
- Proficiency in an additional Southeast Asian language or Mandarin is advantageous.

- The position is open to qualified candidates currently based across Southeast Asia.

- Finstock will provide partial assistance for reasonable and pre-approved relocation expenses.
- Relocation support will depend on the candidate’s location, circumstances, role fit, and company approval.
- Work-pass support, where required, will be assessed based on candidate eligibility and applicable regulations.
This role may require periodic business travel within Southeast Asia for client meetings, partnership discussions, industry events, and internal planning. Travel must be approved in accordance with company policy.
What We Offer
Any bonus, commission, or other performance-based incentive is variable, is not guaranteed, and will be governed by the applicable written compensation plan, eligibility requirements, performance criteria, payment conditions, and company policy.
- Annual base salary of USD $65,000–$85,000.

This is a commercial business-development role supporting Finstock’s institutional relationships, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and regional market expansion.
The role does not require or permit the employee to:

- Recommend that an individual buy, sell, or hold a financial instrument based on personal circumstances.
- Execute trades or manage client funds.
- Handle client assets, deposits, withdrawals, or payments outside approved company payment processes.
- Promise or imply investment returns, trading profits, risk-free outcomes, or guaranteed product results.
- Represent Finstock as a broker, investment adviser, portfolio manager, fund manager, or regulated intermediary unless separately authorized in writing and legally permitted.
- Make unapproved product, pricing, regulatory, security, certification, service-level, or implementation commitments.
- Sign contracts or approve commercial terms outside documented authority.
- Offer unauthorized discounts, credits, refunds, or incentives.
- Use unauthorized data sources or violate third-party licensing restrictions.
- Pay or offer improper incentives, gifts, referral payments, or anything of value in violation of applicable anti-bribery, anti-corruption, sanctions, or company policies.
- Request applicants to pay application fees, recruitment fees, training payments, equipment payments, relocation deposits, or onboarding fees.
