Full-stack Developer Intern

Role Description

The Full-stack Developer Intern volunteer role at SRIYOG is a remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web applications.

Day-to-day tasks include contributing to front-end and back-end development, writing clean and efficient code, and assisting in integrating user interfaces with server-side logic.

The intern will collaborate with senior developers, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot bugs, and help improve application performance and reliability.

This volunteer role provides hands-on experience with full-stack development in a consulting environment, offering opportunities to learn best practices in software engineering and client-focused delivery.

Qualifications

- Front-End Development skills, including experience with HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and basic JavaScript or modern front-end frameworks.

- Back-End Web Development experience or coursework, with familiarity in server-side programming, APIs, and database integration.

- Understanding of Software Development fundamentals, including version control, debugging, testing, and documenting code.

- Interest or foundational experience in Full-Stack Development, with the ability to work across both client-side and server-side components.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with a distributed team.

- Relevant academic background or self-taught experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is beneficial.

- Previous project experience (personal, academic, or open-source) demonstrating practical coding skills is an advantage.
