Power BI Developer
Location: Remote (North America)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer based in India to join our team and lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. This is a fully remote role supporting global stakeholders, requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be responsible for building scalable dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
- Build and optimize data models, semantic layers, and datasets
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Develop and maintain DAX measures, calculations, and Power Query scripts
- Integrate Azure and other cloud-based services into Power BI workflows
- Work with data warehouses and structured datasets to ensure accurate, reliable reporting
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Improve performance and scalability of existing reports and dashboards
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting or data issues in production environments
- Maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for BI development
- Support ongoing enhancements, testing, and production support

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Business Intelligence Developer
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
- Strong knowledge of SQL, DAX, and Power Query (M language)
- Experience working with Azure and cloud-based data environments
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with global teams
- Must be based in India
