About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our team as a full-time contractor. You will work closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to define product vision, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about building innovative products while leveraging modern AI tools to maximize productivity.
Responsibilities- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business objectives.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Prioritize features based on customer feedback, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Monitor project progress and remove blockers to keep teams productive.
- Analyze product metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvements.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to improve product discovery, documentation, research, and workflow efficiency.
- Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and priorities effectively across teams.

- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in software development.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Must be available to work full-time during PST business hours (8 AM – 5 PM PST).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Experience working with SaaS, web, or mobile applications.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Notion AI, or Cursor and the ability to integrate AI into daily workflows.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Linear, ClickUp, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and software architecture is a plus.
- Experience in startup environments is highly preferred.
