Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment to determine its intended functionality
- Designs test strategies and test cases for complex systems and execute various types of testing (e.g. functional, integration, end-to-end) on a variety of platforms (e.g. mobile, web, portal frameworks)
- Participate in or hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
- Organize test planning meetings, provide inputs on end-to-end test scenarios, challenges, risks, UAT test cases, etc.
- Anticipate, identify, log and track issues as they arise and communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to QA and Project management
- Mentor and cross-train QA team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing across the team
- Cultivate and disseminate continuous improvement initiatives on industry trend best practices
- Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing sufficient details to understand, replicate and resolve the defect
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective testing
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of the company
- Other tasks assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, including mobile testing.
- Skilled with creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and executing manual tests.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Experience with JIRA, AWS, and Postman
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience in coordinating, overseeing, and managing testing processes with 3rd party resources, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards
- Knowledge of web application development and database technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and integration including seamless integration with advanced testing frameworks
- Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Skilled in mobile testing is preferred.
