Network Engineer (100% Remote contract- Cisco, routing, Python)
Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their team. This engineer will have a strong routing/switching background as well as have some hands on network automation and scripting experience. They will help to support large scale networks across an enterprise organization.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and configuring routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
- Utilizing Cisco Equipment for routing/switching and troubleshooting
- Experience with firewall rules and policies, maintenance troubleshooting
- Utilizing Python for network automation and process automation
- Using virtualized network infrastructure across multiple platforms like Cisco OS and Juniper
