Vice President, Data Center Operations & Hyperscale Services
Location: United States (Remote with Travel)
Compensation: $250,000-$300,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Executive Benefits
About the Opportunity
A rapidly growing global provider of mission-critical infrastructure services is seeking a Vice President of Data Center Operations & Hyperscale Services to lead large-scale operations supporting hyperscale, cloud, and enterprise data center customers. This executive will oversee national and international service delivery, critical facility operations, structured cabling and fiber programs, and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Growth
- Lead multi-site data center operations and infrastructure services across North America and global markets.
- Develop and execute long-term growth strategies, operational roadmaps, and organizational scale plans.
- Establish standardized operating models and best practices to support rapid expansion.
- Drive initiatives focused on safety, operational excellence, quality, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee critical facility operations, maintenance programs, incident response, and change management activities.
- Ensure consistent execution of service level agreements (SLAs) across hyperscale and enterprise customers.
- Monitor key operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support data center expansions, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure modernization programs.

PMO & Governance
- Build and optimize project management and operational governance frameworks.
- Implement scalable processes, readiness reviews, reporting structures, and risk management programs.
- Partner with engineering, construction, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
Financial & Commercial Leadership
- Maintain full P&L accountability and drive profitable revenue growth.
- Optimize supply chain, procurement, and resource planning strategies.
- Strengthen executive-level customer relationships and identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Improve operational forecasting, cost control, and overall financial performance.

- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing operational leadership teams.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience in data center operations, mission-critical infrastructure, hyperscale environments, or related technical services organizations.
- Proven success managing large-scale operations with full P&L responsibility.
- Experience scaling teams, service offerings, and operational capabilities in high-growth environments.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and/or critical facility operations.
- Demonstrated success building PMOs, governance frameworks, and enterprise-wide process improvements.
- Executive presence and the ability to build strong relationships with enterprise and hyperscale customers.
- Expertise in operational planning, risk management, schedule control, and performance optimization.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting hyperscale cloud providers, colocation operators, or large enterprise data center portfolios.
- Background in fiber optic infrastructure, network deployment, testing and commissioning, or data center lifecycle services.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams and multi-region operations.
