Role Overview

Hawkroot is seeking a motivated BI Analyst Intern to join our remote team on a part-time basis. This internship is open to final-year students and recent graduates based in the Netherlands who are looking to apply their analytical and reporting skills to real-world business intelligence projects and build practical experience in a professional environment.

Duration: 3 months

Working hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Monthly stipend: €1,560 gross per month

Work arrangement: Fully remote

Location: Netherlands

What You Will Do

• Support the development and maintenance of BI dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI or Tableau
• Collect, clean, and structure data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting outputs

• Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relevant databases
• Analyse business data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators
• Assist in translating business requirements into clear and actionable data visualisations
• Support the documentation of BI processes, data definitions, and reporting standards
• Conduct data quality checks and flag inconsistencies or anomalies to the team
• Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely business intelligence outputs

What We Are Looking For

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience or strong academic knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, advanced functions, and data visualisation
• Familiarity with data modelling concepts and reporting best practices
• Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
