Our work is handled on paper and backed by a telephone number that answers for ninety days. Currently, we are focusing our attention on a specific engagement for an Italian financial institution. This project involves the systematic reconstruction of complex financial logic and data structures. To support this work, we are looking for a Junior JavaScript Developer who can help translate these financial artifacts into clean, functional code within our remote environment.

What you would do
Working on the project for our Italian financial partner require precision and a methodical approach to scripting. You will be responsible for the following:

• Writing and maintaining JavaScript scripts to automate the extraction and transformation of financial data from various files and ledgers.
• Building small, internal tools and utilities that help our team audit and verify the integrity of financial artifacts.
• Translating complex logic from spreadsheets and paper documents into clean, readable JavaScript code.
• Participating in our builder and challenger process by providing technical evidence to support or refute specific financial assumptions.
• Documenting your code through clear, written arguments that explain the logic behind every script and function.

Helpful background
This is an entry level role suited for someone who values technical discipline and the pursuit of facts. We do not expect years of professional experience, but we do require a solid foundation in the following areas:

• A basic but firm understanding of JavaScript, particularly in a Node.js environment for handling file systems and data.

How we work

We do not use slide decks: we return the same artifacts clients sent us, redrawn by hand and supported by written proof. Every piece of work we produce carries the names of the people who worked on it, emphasizing personal accountability.
