Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Splunk Monitoring & Observability Cloud Engineer to support the implementation and optimization of enterprise monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with Splunk, monitoring best practices, and observability platforms.


Responsibilities:

  • Configure log sinks and integrate systems with Splunk.
  • Implement and optimize end-to-end monitoring solutions.
  • Design and manage the grouping of monitored components into logical services.
  • Cluster monitoring items into complete service views to improve observability.
  • Create, maintain, and work with technical documentation, administration guides, and operational manuals.
  • Configure and enhance solutions within Splunk Observability Cloud.
  • Support the implementation of monitoring standards and best practices.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Splunk administration and engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture, configuration items, and integration requirements.
  • Practical experience with Splunk Observability Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring concepts, including:
  • Monitoring items
  • Tags
  • Alerts
  • Notification channels
  • Monitoring implementation requirements
  • Experience defining and implementing alerting policies and monitoring best practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote project environment.


Project Details:

  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: Initial 2 months with extension possible
  • Workload: 20–25 hours per week
  • Location: Fully remote
