A leading industrial services organization in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced HR Manager to build and lead a modern, full‑cycle HR function across multiple business units. With continued growth and multi‑entity operations, the company is ready to elevate HR into a strategic, unified, and technology‑driven function.

This role is ideal for a seasoned HR leader who thrives in complex environments, enjoys building structure, and is comfortable leading both people and process transformation.

Role Overview

• Lead and transform HR across several operating companies

• Build a holistic HR lifecycle: recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, benefits, safety, performance, documentation

• Manage and mentor payroll/HR teams

• Partner closely with executive leadership

• Standardize HR processes across all entities

• Ensure compliance in a highly regulated industrial environment

• Improve communication between managers, payroll, HR, and safety

• Lead payroll software implementation and manager training

• Oversee multi‑entity payroll operations

• Build scalable recruiting processes

• Expand apprenticeship and workforce development programs

• Implement engagement programs and performance review processes

• Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, DOT, and multi‑state regulations

• Oversee workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work coordination

• Lead investigations and employee relations strategy

What You Bring

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience

• Background in industrial contracting, manufacturing, construction, or skilled trades preferred

• Tech‑savvy with process improvement and HR automation experience

• Union HR experience strongly valued

• Experience leading HR teams and transforming departments

• Strong HRIS implementation experience

• Deep knowledge of compliance, investigations, wage/hour, and workers’ comp

• SHRM‑SCP or SPHR preferred

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Comfortable working onsite in Savannah five days per week

Location & Travel

• Fully onsite in Savannah, GA

• Travel to nearby facilities as needed
