Senior IT Director - Automotive Group (On-Site, St. Maarten)

We are supporting an established automotive group in St. Maarten who are looking for an experienced, hands-on IT Director to take ownership of their technology infrastructure and IT operations across multiple locations and two islands.

They are not looking for someone who only wants to sit at a strategic level. They need someone who can lead the function, manage a small team and still get involved when needed across networking, systems, security, servers and day-to-day IT support.

The package is expected to be around $85,000 depending on experience, plus:

• Relocation sponsorship and support

• Medical benefits

• Dental benefits

• Paid holidays

• Paid vacation

You will report directly to the COO and have the opportunity to shape the IT standards, processes and wider technology strategy across the business.

They are ideally looking for someone with strong experience in:

• IT infrastructure and network administration

• Microsoft 365 and Windows environments

• TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, switches and routers

• Servers, virtualisation and backup systems

• Cybersecurity and business continuity

• Managing vendors, budgets and IT projects

• Leading and developing a small IT team

Automotive dealership IT experience would be a huge advantage, especially experience with dealership management systems and manufacturer platforms.

This is an on-site role in St. Maarten, so you must be open to relocating.
