Job Description
Application Security Analyst (AI Training)
About The Role
Your instinct for how software breaks in the real world is exactly what the next generation of AI needs. We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build AI systems that can reason about application security — and we need experienced practitioners to make that happen.
This is a unique opportunity to directly influence how frontier AI understands, prioritizes, and remediates software risk. If you've spent time hunting vulnerabilities, reviewing code for security flaws, or advising teams on secure development, your knowledge can help teach AI to do the same.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Analyze realistic application security scenarios across code, APIs, and system behavior
- Classify and evaluate vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic issues
- Assess the quality and accuracy of AI-generated security reasoning and remediation strategies
- Help build and validate security-focused datasets that teach AI how to think like a skilled AppSec professional
- Provide clear, structured written analysis that distinguishes genuine exploitability from theoretical risk
