DevOps Team Lead | Deep-Tech Hardware & Software | Netherlands (Hybrid)
Are you an experienced DevOps leader who thrives on building high-performing teams and driving engineering excellence?
We're partnering with an innovative deep-tech company developing next-generation computing technology and are looking for an exceptional DevOps Team Lead to lead, grow, and shape their DevOps function. This is a rare opportunity to have a significant impact on both the technical direction and engineering culture of a fast-growing organisation.
While you'll remain technically involved, this is first and foremost a leadership role. You'll be responsible for developing your team, establishing DevOps best practices, and enabling engineering teams across FPGA, embedded systems, and software development to deliver at scale.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers.
- Build a high-performing engineering culture focused on collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Define and drive the DevOps strategy, standards, and best practices across the organisation.
- Partner with engineering leaders to improve development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Oversee the design and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines for FPGA, embedded, and software projects.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, security, and platform reliability.
- Support organisational growth by implementing scalable DevOps processes and governance.

What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will be an experienced people leader with a strong technical foundation.
You'll have:
- Proven experience leading and developing DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure teams.
- A track record of driving technical change and improving engineering processes across multiple teams.
- Strong experience with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Linux, and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence engineering strategy.
- Experience working within complex engineering environments.
