Job Description
We’re Hiring: Software Engineer (Remote)
Airochat is a Canada-based AI startup building the next generation of conversational AI and customer engagement platforms.
We’re currently in the product launch phase. Over the past four months, we’ve built the platform almost entirely with AI, and we’re now looking for a full-time Software Engineer to work directly with the two founders.
This isn’t a typical developer role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex engineering problems, and helping turn an ambitious product into a production-ready platform.
What you’ll be working on
During your first months, you’ll focus on:
* Reviewing and validating the existing codebase.
* Identifying and fixing critical issues.
* Improving architecture, scalability, and maintainability.
* Strengthening application security.
* Preparing the platform for production.
* Setting up and optimizing servers and development environments.
* Improving performance, reliability, and observability.
* Building and maintaining APIs and third-party integrations.
* Working on integrations with Meta (WhatsApp & Instagram), X (Twitter), and other external services.
* Collaborating directly with the founders on product and technical decisions.

We’re looking for someone who
