About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP Backend Developer to join our team at GrabJobs. In this fully remote position, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our platform’s core functionalities. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable, secure, and efficient APIs and services that enhance the user experience for both employers and job seekers. Collaborating closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams, you will help shape the technical direction of our platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional backend development experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
• At least 3 years of hands-on PHP development experience, with a portfolio of production-level applications.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL, including relational database design, query optimization, and management.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in both development and production environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP and MySQL to support platform functionalities.
