Role Description

This remote Site Reliability Engineer role is a contract position focused on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems. The Site Reliability Engineer will monitor system health, respond to incidents, and drive root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues. The role involves collaborating with software development and operations teams to design resilient architectures, automate deployments, and optimize infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and improving observability tools, refining incident response processes, and implementing best practices for system administration and infrastructure management. The engineer will also contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance overall service quality.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Site Reliability Engineering skills, including experience with reliability principles, monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex production issues and perform effective root-cause analysis.
