The Web Design Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and maintaining visually engaging, user-friendly websites for aCXend and its partners. This role includes creating wireframes and mockups, implementing responsive layouts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align designs with business objectives and brand guidelines. The Web Design Specialist will work closely with the partners to ensure designs are accurately implemented, optimize user interfaces for performance and accessibility, and iterate based on feedback and analytics. Day-to-day work involves managing multiple projects, maintaining design consistency across digital properties, and contributing to continuous improvements in user experience and visual standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design, with a portfolio demonstrating modern, user-centered websites.
- Proficiency in User Interface Design, with experience creating intuitive layouts, navigation, and interaction patterns.
- Experience in Front-End Development (e.g., HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and support design implementation.
- Graphic Design capabilities, including proficiency with design tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) to create assets and visual concepts.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards, performance best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
- Prior experience designing for SaaS, operations-focused services, or B2B environments is a plus.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- With experience utilizing Duda and Wordpress in Web Design and other related tools.
