About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team at GrabJobs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building production-ready Flutter applications, with a solid understanding of clean architecture principles. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality features that improve user engagement and overall platform performance. Your expertise will contribute to creating scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile solutions that support our mission to revolutionize recruitment technology.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess proven experience in mobile application development using Flutter. A deep understanding of Flutter SDK, Dart programming language, null safety, custom widget creation, animations, and platform channels is essential. Experience in publishing and maintaining applications on both iOS and Android is required. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Firebase services (Auth, Realtime Database, Crashlytics, Analytics) is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable code. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git, and collaborative development workflows is also important. Nice-to-have skills include experience with Strapi or other headless CMS platforms, Flutter flavors, multi-environment setups, and app store deployment processes.

Responsibilities

The Flutter Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications using Flutter and Dart. Key responsibilities include building reusable and scalable components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, and writing clean, testable code. You will implement and maintain various tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical discussions to ensure best practices are followed. Debugging, performance optimization, and integrating backend services via APIs are vital parts of the role. Additionally, you will work with Firebase services such as Auth, Realtime Database, Crashlytics, and Analytics, and handle integrations with third-party SDKs, including POS and payment solutions. Implementing push notifications, deep linking, and mobile app tracking flows are also part of your duties. You will support adaptive layouts and Flutter Web when necessary, and help improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes for iOS and Android, including TestFlight, internal testing, and app store deployment. Ensuring the stability and quality of releases, managing automated pipelines, and providing ongoing production support are essential components of this role.
