Job Description


Inspire Early Learning Journey is looking for a proactive Junior IT Support to support our Head Office and campuses across Victoria.

This is a hands-on IT support role suitable for someone early in their IT career who enjoys solving practical technology problems, helping people, and learning new systems in a fast-growing organisation.

Professional IT experience is not required. What matters most is your genuine interest in IT, logical thinking, communication skills, and willingness to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to Head Office and campus staff.
  • Troubleshoot computers, iPads, printers, scanners, email, internet, Wi-Fi, and common software issues.
  • Assist with user onboarding, off-boarding, account setup, permissions, and device setup.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and other cloud-based business systems.
  • Help manage IT equipment, asset records, basic documentation, and user guides.
  • Assist with basic network, printer, and campus IT setup when required.
  • Liaise with IT vendors and suppliers to follow up on support cases, hardware orders, and service requests.
  • Visit campuses when needed to support IT setup, troubleshooting, and small projects.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Genuine interest in IT, technology, and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, helpful attitude toward users.
  • Logical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot issues step by step.
  • Comfortable using Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and common office software.
  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
  • Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and document work clearly.
  • Able to work from Head Office in Camberwell, VIC, with occasional travel to multiple locations as required.
  • Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Victorian driver licence and Working with Children Check.

Advantageous Attributes

  • Study background in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Previous internship, part-time work, volunteering, home lab, or informal IT support experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Teams, SharePoint, or OneDrive.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Intune, or device management.
  • Experience with Apple devices, iPads, or Apple School Manager.
  • Basic understanding of networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, printers, or firewalls.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Moodle / LMS, GitBook, or other cloud-based platforms.
  • Any interest or experience in scripting, Power Automate, PowerShell, BI, AI / LLM, or cybersecurity.
