Job Description
Vue Developer / Frontend Engineer (Remote)
We’re looking for a fast, motivated Vue developer who wants to build ambitious software with real impact.
At streamways, we’re building the next generation of software for driving schools in Europe. Our platform is already used across Germany and Finland, and we’re growing fast with exciting partnerships and a product roadmap full of things that actually matter.
This is a role for someone who likes ownership, moves quickly, communicates clearly, and wants to be part of a team that is hungry to build something big.
What you'll do
You’ll work on our web and mobile applications, helping us build and improve features for driving schools, instructors and students across multiple markets.
Your focus will be on implementing features, improving existing functionality and keeping the frontend stable, clean, and maintainable. You’ll collaborate closely with product, backend, and QA to deliver reliable results.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting things done, works independently, and communicates clearly. You should feel comfortable thinking along, spotting opportunities for improvement, and contributing ideas, while focusing on building high-quality software efficiently.
What we're looking for
You should have a few years of hands-on experience building modern frontend applications and be confident working independently.
You are a strong fit if you:
- Have solid experience with Vue.js
- Are comfortable building clean, maintainable frontend code
- Understand how to work with APIs, state management, forms, validation, routing, and reusable components
- Care about UX and details, not just “it works”
- Are fast, reliable, and able to work well under pressure
- Communicate clearly in English
- Enjoy teamwork, feedback, and continuous improvement
- Like taking ownership instead of waiting for perfect instructions
- Are based in Germany, Denmark, Finland, the USA, or Canada

- Have worked in fast-moving startup or scale-up environments
- Like solving complex product problems, not only technical ones
How we work
We are fully remote, but we work closely together. Communication, empathy, honesty, and ownership are extremely important to us.
We believe in people over process, fast decisions, and building things that users actually need. Your ideas will be heard, discussed, and often brought to life without months of unnecessary meetings.
We work across time zones and keep things flexible. Europe-based team members should be available during our core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM German time. Overseas team members, typically 6 hours behind Germany, should be available around 8 AM to 4 PM local time so we have enough overlap for smooth collaboration.

- Real ownership and the chance to shape the product
- Team events in Germany or Denmark
- Partnerships with Klarna, Tenstar, and other companies shaping the future of our industry

Why this role matters
We’re not looking for someone who just wants “a job.” We’re looking for someone who wants to build.
The driving school industry is changing, and streamways is here to be one of the companies leading that change. If you’re hungry, pragmatic, kind, fast, and excited by the idea of building something meaningful with a strong team, we’d love to hear from you.
