As a Junior Software Developer at Eva, you will work on our AI-powered eCommerce products and contribute to features used across different areas of the business.

You will work closely with the product and development teams to build, test, and launch features across both frontend and backend systems. This is a fully remote position designed for a developer who is eager to learn, take ownership, and grow within a fast-moving technology environment.

You will gain hands-on experience with modern web technologies, eCommerce platform integrations, and artificial intelligence applications used in real production environments.

• Develop, test, and launch features across Eva’s AI-powered eCommerce products.
• Work across both frontend and backend systems using React, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Build and maintain integrations with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and Walmart.
• Work with modern AI and large language model APIs, including OpenAI and Anthropic.
• Translate business and product requirements into reliable and scalable software solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned features from initial planning through development, testing, and deployment.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the product.
• Collaborate remotely with product, engineering, and business teams.

• Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and technical decisions proactively.

• Bachelor’s degree graduate or currently completing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be permanently based in Turkey.
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and modern web development fundamentals.
• Academic, bootcamp, internship, personal project, or professional experience with at least one of the following:

React

Node.js

Next.js

• Basic understanding of frontend and backend application development.
• Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, large language models, and AI-powered software products.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken. This is a mandatory requirement as most of our customers and team communications are based in the United States. Interviews will be conducted in English.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Ability to communicate proactively and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and third-party integrations.
• Contributions to open-source software projects.
• Experience deploying web applications to production environments.
• Familiarity with databases and cloud-based development tools.
