Job Description
Mosaic Conseil operates as a small, remote workshop dedicated to rebuilding one business artifact at a time. Whether it is a three year plan, a pricing grid, or a diligence file, we take things apart on the bench and put them back together against the physical evidence of the invoice ledger. Our process is personal and focused. We do not work on standing retainers and we do not produce slide decks. Instead, we return the same artifact you sent, redrawn by hand and supported by a written argument. Our work is handled on paper and backed by a telephone number that answers for ninety days. We remain independent and focused on the evidence at the floor of the business.
About Mosaic Conseil
We are a boutique remote consultancy where professionals rebuild business plans and financial models with high precision. We keep the workshop small on purpose to ensure that the people who do the work also answer their own phones. There are no meetings we did not schedule ourselves. We focus on four specific rooms: financial services, industrial networks, software companies, and healthcare systems. By staying small and remote, we ensure that every assumption in a project is tested before a file closes. This is a place for thinkers who value intellectual honesty and the discipline of a focused team.
What you would do
As a Junior AI Automation Developer, you will build the technical pipelines that support our rebuilding process. This role is about precision rather than speed. You will spend your time constructing systems that extract data from messy business artifacts, such as legacy ledgers or healthcare records, and prepare them for analysis. You will develop automation scripts that help our team audit and argue against the contents of a file. Specific tasks include:
- Designing automated workflows to ingest and structure data from diverse business documents.
- Building internal tools that link Large Language Model outputs to our specific financial and industrial modeling frameworks.
- Ensuring the technical accuracy of data used in our written arguments.
- Contributing to the builder challenger process by providing technical evidence to refute or support assumptions in a model.
- Developing scripts to automate the production of final artifacts in their native formats, such as spreadsheets or text documents.
- Maintaining the technical reliability of our remote workshop infrastructure to ensure we can answer the phone for our clients.

We are looking for individuals who find satisfaction in a well built spreadsheet or a clean script. You do not need a decade of experience, but you do need technical comfort and a high degree of curiosity. This is an entry level role suited for someone who has studied computer science, data analysis, or a related field. The following attributes will be useful:
- Basic proficiency in Python or JavaScript for writing automation scripts and working with APIs.
- Familiarity with how Large Language Models can be used to extract information from unstructured text.
- A strong interest in how businesses actually operate, from their pricing models to their supply chains.
- The ability to write clearly and explain a technical logic without relying on jargon.
- A high level of attention to detail and a refusal to ignore inconsistencies in data.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment which requires high self discipline.
- Academic or personal projects that demonstrate an ability to build functional software tools.

Every file at Mosaic Conseil carries two names on the cover: one person who builds and one who argues against what was built. This builder challenger dynamic is the core of our reputation. As a developer, you will be part of this cycle, providing the technical evidence that allows us to find the truth in a client's data. We do not use corporate theater or long email threads. We communicate primarily through written arguments and focused technical documentation. We work in deep blocks of time without the distraction of unscheduled calls or status meetings. Because we are fully remote, we rely on the quality of our work to speak for us.
What the role offers
This is a permanent, full time position that is fully remote. You will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule and work from a location that allows for deep concentration. The pay for this role is competitive for the market and reflects the high level of responsibility we expect from entry level contributors. You will work directly with experienced analysts and builders, learning how to apply AI automation to high stakes business problems in finance and industry. There is no busy work here: every script you write and every system you build contributes directly to the final artifact we return to a client. We offer a professional environment where technical competence is valued over internal politics.
The work we do is backed by a commitment to evidence and clarity. At Mosaic Conseil, you will be expected to stand behind the code you write and the data you produce. We remain focused on the four rooms of our specialization, ensuring that our technical work always has a direct application to the floor of the business.
